Jason Batchelor, age 21, of Springfield was arrested on Thursday, June 17, after prosecutors presented evidence to a grand jury about his role in the February shooting death of 18-year-old Robert Crochiere.
According to Springfield Police Department Spokesman Ryan Walsh, Batchelor was arrested by members of the Springfield Police the Massachusetts State Police, US Marshal’s Task Force, and the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department.
Two other men, Fernando Massey and Quamel Batchelor, were arrested in Florida in May in connection with the murder and were escorted back to Massachusetts.
Massey and Batchelor are being held without bail.
